IFC 2024 Elections FAQ
The UBC Inter-Fraternity Council is seeking highly motivated individuals that wish to lead the Fraternities’ side of the Greek System in 2024. Candidates are encouraged to apply for multiple positions, and the election day is scheduled for Sunday, January 21st, at 2:00 PM at Sigma Chi Fraternity. General requirements for candidates include being in good academic standing, active membership in good standing with their chapters, and submission of the candidacy application before the January 20th, 11:59 PM deadline. Candidates should also be familiar with the IFC Election Bylaws and come prepared with a three-minute speech, dressed in formal attire (black tie).
Members of the executive board have a wide range of responsibilities, delegated into nine (9) unique positions;

For the Delegate Body, chapter delegates must be present for all candidate speeches and are allowed one vote per position, with each chapter restricted to two positions.
